Vancouver, British Columbia, February 21, 2018 – Hemisphere Energy Corporation (TSX-V: HME) (“Hemisphere” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has commenced its winter development drilling program in Atlee Buffalo, southeast Alberta.
Hemisphere has begun its three-well drilling program in Atlee Buffalo, which includes one producer and two injectors. All three of these wells are located in the Upper Mannville G pool where the Company recently constructed a centralized oil facility to separate and re-inject produced water from the pool. The producing well will be drilled into the thickest part of the pool where injection was recently added, and the two water injectors will set-up pressure maintenance for a substantial follow-up drilling program of producers planned for the summer. Results of this winter drilling program will be announced as they become available.
